Recently we carried out this Consumer Unit (Fuse Board) upgrade in Chirton, near Devizes in Wiltshire. The photos show the stages of a Consumer Unit upgrade. Originally, there were multiple fuseboards, which we removed and housed all existing and new circuits within one new Consumer Unit. Each circuit is now clearly labelled, installed within a non-combustible housing and has the most up to date (BS7671:2018) protection.
